Date Night Threads | OOTN

I often notice that showing up late to a date night or a summer night out on the town with friends is consistently accompanied by this one excuse "I couldn't find anything to wear". Well enough is enough and our friends, dates and spouses are tired of this. A very popular saying on social media today is " if you stay ready, you never have to get ready", I always thought this meant something like keeping a to-do list, to be ready for whatever the day throws at you. But recently I have been applying it to other things as well as my wardrobe. I usually only purchase outfits if an event (that is clothes-buying worthy) is approaching. I usually wait until the last minute; it seems that outfits purchased way in advance loses their appeal right before an event and at the last minute I indulge in an anxiety-filled panic dash to a random store to find "perfection" - if there is another more overdramatic way to torture yourself please let me know. My friends on the other hand are swift and nifty bargain hunters that can smell an extra 50% off the sale price from a mile away. They understand the concept of purchasing pieces and making a look work when the time is right.

Lets get back to "staying ready", If you have a to-do list you are considered prepared correct? So whats wrong with having a ready to go wardrobe, things already prepared so you can just grab a cute summer outfit and go. I think having around 2 new pieces in your wardrobe is great for this staying ready situation.

Here are 10 smoking date night outfits  from Guess that are worth "staying ready" with, now you can plan the rest of your weekend events effortlessly.
